The feedback on the night and the morning after has been very pleasing to us here at Trivett. A lot of time and effort went into the night, (special mention must go to Emma Whitmore for all her efforts....onya Emma) and the end result made it all worth while. I have to say, I have been doing the Harley thing since the late 1980's and have been involved in many in- house promotions such as model launches, HOG nights and even the 100th anniversary Road Show at Homebush in 2003, and I have not enjoyed myself as much as I did last night. The ladies were interested in everything that was happening which allowed them a rare insight into everything that happens within a Harley dealership on a day to day basis.
On top of that, there were fantastic give always, drinks, food, music, prizes, temporary tattoos, helpful and eager to please staff manning various learning stations explaining service and workshop info, motor clothes, accessories and customizing your bike, and even a demo from one of our female staff members, Melissa, on how to safely lift a Harley that has fallen over. Very interesting to watch when you consider Melissa weighs a mere 50 kilos wringing wet.
The comment that I heard most on the night was how professional the whole show was. I heard that time after time. It was interesting to hear some of the ladies say they expected a bit of a talk about bikes and that was it. Not the bigger than Ben Hur production that it turned out to be. And why not? Nothing is too god for our valued customers.
